Ahkam, who left his engineering education in 2015, started his professional music education by entering the Istanbul Bilgi University Music Department in 2016. During the same period, he founded his own music studio, Karakutu. In 2020, he released his first independent works, "Why? (Instrumental)", "Yok Gibi" and "Cash" under the name "Karakutu". He was inspired by Eminem's album "The Eminem Show" and other songs, as well as Ceza and Sagopa Kajmer. His interest in music continued with amateur production and recording works in the following years.
Ahkam, who signed an agreement with SO Music Production in 2021, released the singles “Paranoya”, “Run”, “Umutlara Bak”, “Her Şey Aynı”, “Hamam”, “Uçurum”, “Yalan”, “Arabesk”, “216”, “Mazot” and “Seni Bana Ver” under the production of Şafak Ongan and the production of Yiğit Diri. The work titled “Her Şey Aynı” entered Spotify’s 0 km editorial list with its video clip directed by Murak Küçük. The music videos of the tracks such as “Uçurum”, “Yalan” and “Arabesk” reached a wide audience on Netd Music YouTube channel and also found a place on platforms such as Dream TV and Virgin Radio. In 2024, his work titled “Paranoya” became the second generic music of the movie of the same name “Paranoya” directed by Cengiz Özkarabekir.
Having completed his contract with SO Music as of 2024, Ahkam released the independent singles "Kimseler" with Özge Erkan and "ZIGGIE" with Derdem (Deniz Erdem). He is currently working on an experimental and industrial style album, and continues his new single projects with names such as Deniz Erdem, Yiğit Diri, Tarık Bülbül, Ezgi Türkeli, Barkın Şimşek, Hakan Sevim. At the same time, he continues his stage performances and studio work with 216PITCHBAND, which he founded, consisting of Egemen Akgül on Drums, Deniz Erdem on Keyboards, Adin Şener on Bass, and Yusuf Hacıalioğlu on Guitar.
